Native American Cultural Background
Native American bead work is well known for it's beauty and how it has to do with basic mathematics. A key concept you use when you do bead work is math. You use math to make sure you plot the correct beads in the correct spots to get a symmetric design. Bead design is based on four fold symmetry that's when the math comes into play. The four main types of Native American artwork were embroidery, bead work, hide drums, and rugs. They made all of these patterns symmetric. The reflection in Native American artwork is when the left side is the exact same as the right. As an example you could have a tee pee which is the same on each side. Fold Four Symmetry is used on a grid by plotting the points to make the image symmetric. Sand paintings is also common in native American artwork. In fold four symmetry four they develop a coordinate system to plot points. In fold four symmetry five they use an x and y axis. Native American bead work was created in 1794.

Communication
This activity has shown me that I use texting and snapchat mostly to communicate with other people. I use it a lot more often than I assumed that I did. Using the log has also shown me that I should try to cut down on using my phone.

Scavenger Hunt Review
One thing I did to help me quicken my pace for the scavenger hunt was use google search it was the quickest and easiest search engine to help me improve my time. One thing I could have done to quicken my time was use the quickest source instead of scrolling down to find a more reliable source. Another thing I could have done was look at websites for pictures instead of looking just on google.

Project Reflection Learned and Liked
During my computer apps project I learned about the dell inspiron 530s and the mac book pro, two computers that could be possible computers I would like to own in the future. I also liked how we did this project as a group project. This was good because if you didn't know how to do something you could ask your group members for help. One challenge I had was finding parts of the computer for these two computers that I didn't even no existed like a video card or a sound card. Overall the project went smoothly and good.
Working With Partners
My partners in my computer apps project worked great. They all di their share of work in the project to get it ready for presentation day.
