I would say for make a block you have to name your block and then after you must explain how that block will work. You might use a block when adding multiple actions in a row to one block.

I liked this activity a lot. It was surprising to me when the scratch would not move unless the green flag was used. It was very easy to be led step by step through the activity. I like a lot of structure when learning because it's easier to follow along. I like having more freedom once I get a hang of the task at hand. I feel most creative when looking at my final project.

The ten block activity helps you learn scratch by showing you what you can do with a limited number of blocks. The ten block restrains you from using your imagination and you have to keep it inside the lines.
